The start of a new month means new gallery displays are up at the Washington Public Library. This month the foyer display will feature the Daughters of the American Revolution, or DAR. The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution is a lineage-based membership service organization for women who are directly descended from a person involved in the United States’ struggle for independence. A non-profit group, they promote education and patriotism. The upstairs gallery display will feature art from the United Presbyterian Home. The galleries are on display during the Library’s open hours.
