The Washington City Council held a discussion at their most recent meeting to approve a resolution for an Iowa Department of Natural Resources Project Grant Agreement. City Administrator Deanna McCusker gives some more information, “This is just the grant agreement for the land, water, the land and water conservation grant that we received.”  This grant is for the installation of lighting for one soccer field and the construction of a restroom and concession area at the soccer fields located in the Wellness Park.
