The Winfield-Mount Union Wolves were defeated in the quarterfinals of this year’s Southeast Iowa Super Conference Volleyball Tournament, falling in straight sets to West Burlington Saturday at Southeastern Community College in West Burlington. The Falcons won the first set 25-9 and kept on rolling to defeat WMU in the second 25-5.

Senior outside hitter Audrie Gipple led the Wolves with three kills and seven digs. Senior setter Aurey Meeker dished out five assists and also had two digs as Winfield-Mount Union falls to 12-10. WMU will return to the court Thursday when they travel to Louisa-Muscatine.
