Homecoming festivities began for the Columbus Community School District on Sunday with the Coronation Ceremony at the High School.

The 2023 Columbus Homecoming Queen is Alexa Alcala, while this year’s King is Damien Vergara. Fellow members on the court are Noemy Navarro-Ayala, Lecet Quiroz, Dakota Storm, Maribel Montiel, Timothy Hills Carrier, Cael Phillips, Kaden Amigon, and Cole Storm.

Activities continue for the Wildcats this week with powderpuff football and volleyball tonight at 6, the Homecoming Parade Wednesday at 6:30, and skits, a pep assembly, and football game on Friday.

The Columbus Homecoming Dance wraps up the celebration on Saturday night from 8-11.
