Thursday night, the No. 9 in Class 3A Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk volleyball team rolled to a River Valley Conference road victory in Tipton. The Hawks swept the Tigers in straight sets 25-21, 25-16 and 25-22. Jovi Evans led the Hawks with 18 assists, and eight kills. She also added 12 digs. Avery Helmuth had 12 assists, Harper Pacha eight kills, Dakota Mitchell a team best 18 digs, Pacha 11 and Lanee Duwa 10. Lauren Fay led with three aces. She and Callie Huber each had three blocks. The win is Mid-Prairie’s 20th on the year against just three losses. Tipton falls to 14-11.
