This week, Cobra head coach Jared Jensen talked about what went well for his team in their win over Pella Christian a week ago, and how they can find success this week. He said, “(Pella Christian) was the first game this year where we felt like we set the bar as a whole game. Other games, maybe we had done well offensively or defensively, our special teams has kind of been up and down, but last week, we played at a high level in all three facets of the game. To be successful in the long run you have to be able to compete and win with offense, defense and special teams. Fundamentally, our guys are where they need to be. Scheme-wise, we can continue to get a little better in a lot of different areas. It’s about excelling, reaching the bar you set, and trying to exceed that bar every game from here on out. We know Colfax-Mingo is in a tough position. It’s probably a game we should win, but you can’t overlook anything. Now you set the bar, and you play against your best.”
