Heritage Oaks in Wapello is the site of the regular season cross country wrap up for four KCII area schools Thursday. In action are Hillcrest Academy, Highland, Lone Tree and WACO. The Ravens last ran at the Southeast Iowa Superconference Championship meet a week ago, where the girls were led by individual SEISC runner-up Marie Yoder. The boys posted a team score of 241 to place 10th with Micah Gerber’s 23rd overall best on the team.

The Highland Huskies were on the course Tuesday in Columbus Junction. The boys were seventh with 195 points. Brock Thoman was the leader in 31st. The girls did not have a team score but top finish came from Halle Hazelett 23rd.

Lone Tree also ran at Cedar Crest Tuesday. Top girls finisher was Vivian Zaruba in eighth and for the boys, Brock Nebergall was 23rd.

WACO competed at Columbus as well Tuesday. Keriran Luitjens was 20th for the Warrior boys and Justine Lynn 21st for the girls.

Joining these teams tonight will be Central Lee, Holy Trinity Catholic, Louisa-Muscatine, Notre Dame/West Burlington, Pekin, Twin Cedars, Wapello and the home Bulldogs and Bullettes. Action starts tonight at 4:30p.m. at Heritage Oaks.
