Local governments and non-profits have until the end of the month to apply for a Keokuk County Community Endowment Foundation (KCCEF) Grant.
KCCEF receives funding from the Iowa County Endowment Fund which taxes 1/8th of 1% of casino revenue and distributes it to the counties. This year, KCCEF will be awarding grants from a pool of $138,000.
Applicants can apply for grants between $500-$5,000 to be put towards improving the community. One application per organization is allowed, and applicants must have IRS 501(c)3 or 170(c)1 status or an eligible financial sponsor.
KCCEF was founded in 2005, and aims to foster private giving, strengthen service providers, and improve the conditions of the community, county, or area of interest. To apply for a grant from the Keokuk County Community Endowment Foundation, click here.
