The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the quarterly report from the Recorder at their Tuesday meeting; County Recorder Teresa Mangold gave the report, “Recordings, we had 1,088 documents recorded, which is running pretty standard, it’s a little down from last quarter, but that’s to be expected with summer ending. Three hundred and forty-one birth, death, and marriage. Thirty-six marriage applications. Passports one hundred and forty applications and one hundred and seventy-one photos, and that’s up still, we are still doing a lot of passports.” The Recorder’s Office issues marriage applications, registers birth, death, and marriage records, and provides certified copies of these documents. They provide registration, title, and lien services for those who own recreational vehicles such as boats, snowmobiles, and ATVs. In addition, they assist in completing and mailing applications for passports, including photo services.
