Today is day two at the 2023 State Cross Country Championships in Fort Dodge. Class 2A and 3A teams from the KCII listening area will race at Kennedy Park. The Washington Demons boys will compete as a team in the 3A race after qualifying for state with a second-place finish at the Pella qualifier last week.. For the Washington girl’s cross country team, Sophomore Iris Dahl will be running. In class 2A, the Mid-Prairie girls will compete as a group after qualifying for State as team champions at Williamsburg.
