The Washington County Mental Health Coalition invites Washington County and surrounding residents to a free screening of the film My Ascension. KCII spoke with Jenny Stevenson, Elevate Director of Crisis Services and emcee for the event, “So there is a trailer to watch on Facebook, that way parents and individuals can see even if they’ve had past experience, or maybe they’ve lost a loved one to suicide or know someone that’s tried. That can be very triggering, so we want to make sure that we’re creating the most supportive environment possible for people to have a shared experience and really be transformed by hope through tragedy.”  This free event includes a question and answer session after the screening with Emma and the producer of the film.
