The Washington Public Library is taking donations for its Giving Tree. Now through December 15th, you can drop off non-perishable, non-expired food items, gloves, and mittens, both children and adult sizes, as well as hats and scarves and adult-size socks and underwear. These donations will be given to the food bank, HACAP, the schools, the Lighthouse Shelter, and Choices. The donations will be going to children and individuals in the community who need some extra help this holiday season. Donations can be dropped off anytime that the Library is open.
