Four of the Washington Demons’ top football players this fall have received postseason honors for their play in 2023 by being voted all-district by coaches in Class 3A District 4.

That includes sophomore Kael Williams, who is a second-team running back after leading Washington with 594 rushing yards and seven touchdowns. Williams averaged five yards per carry, thanks in part to the blocking of junior center Lucas Zahs, who is a second-team offensive lineman.

On defense, Casen Evans is a second-team linebacker after piling up 62 tackles, the third-most in the district. Fellow senior Alec Ulin had 44-and-a-half stops this season and makes the second-team District 4 defense as a utility player. The Demons went 2-7 this season, including a 1-4 record in district play.
