The Washington City Council met on Tuesday. On the agenda under special event requests was a request from Hospice of Washington County for Hospice and Palliative Care Month. Hospice of Washington County Office Administrator Tiffany Crawford explains,  “November is Hospice Awareness Month, so throughout the month of November we like to make people aware about facts about Hospice, and when to contact Hospice, and so if approved, we would like to put bows around the city posts uptown, with just little facts about Hospice.” The Council approved the request unanimously. The ribbons will be placed around downtown Washington for the month of November.
