Two local girls basketball teams will see their first live action of the season tonight when they travel to Packwood for the Pekin Panther jamboree. The night opens with the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks facing off with the Cardinal Comets. Mid-Prairie was 16-7 a season ago, while Cardinal posted a 5-18 record.

The second game of the night features the Sigourney Savages against the Van Buren Warriors. Sigourney was 16-8 a year ago, the Warriors 6-16.

The nightcap sees Albia take the floor against the host Panthers. Action starts tonight at 5:30p.m. at Pekin High School.
