Last week, the Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary dedicated a new bench in honor of the late Susan Muntz. Muntz, who passed away in May, had served as President of the Auxiliary for eight years.

Members of the Auxiliary, along with Muntz’s family and Jefferson County Health Center CEO Bryan Hunger, gathered on Wednesday, November 8 to hold the dedication. The hope for the bench, which is located in front of the Health Center, is for it to be used as a place for reflection and solace, in addition to paying tribute to Muntz’s kindness and involvement in her community.

The Jefferson County Health Center Auxiliary operates with the mission to support the needs of the hospital, the comfort of patients and their families, and to give scholarships to individuals pursuing a health-related career.
