Tim Grady Gymnasium is the place to be Monday night for a quadruple header of boys basketball action when Mid-Prairie hosts their annual jamboree. One other area team will also be in attendance.

The night opens with the West Branch Bears facing off against the Mount Pleasant Panthers at 6p.m. At 6:45, head coach Mitch Eslick and the Sigourney Savages will square off with Central Lee. Sigourney was 13-10 last year, the Hawks finished with a 4-18 record. The third contest pits the Pekin Panthers against the Tipton Tigers at 7:30. The nightcap sees the home Golden Hawks take the floor against Eddyville-Blakesburg. Mid-Prairie was 12-11 last season, the Rockets 20-3.

All games are played with officials, under regular rules. The contests are one half in length and do not count on any team’s official record. Action starts at 6p.m. Monday at Tim Grady Gymnasium in Wellman.
