Washington County Extension and Outreach will be hosting a Beginning Farmer meeting on November 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Washington County Extension Office, Washington State Bank Meeting Room. The meeting will focus on the topic of current crop market conditions and crop market outlook.  Dr. Chad Hart, Marketing Economist to present.  Also presenting will be Dr. Lee Schultz.  He will be talking about livestock outlook and profit potential for beef, pork, and other Iowa industries. The meeting is open to all beginning farmers from Southeast Iowa. There is no charge for the event, and a light snack will be provided.
