The Washington boys fell behind 20-6 after a quarter of play thanks to Keokuk sophomore Jaxon Clark exploding for 15 early points. Clark scored a game-high 26 points and Chiefs junior Brenton Hoard added five three-pointers and 19 points, as the Demons trailed by as much as 28 in a 64-37 loss. Sophomore Drew Conrad had a team-high 11 points for the Washington boys, who fall to 1-2, while the Demon girls drop to 2-2. Both teams next play Tuesday at Pella.
