Just Us Girls is a vocal ensemble group of women from the Washington area that has been providing music and entertainment to southeast Iowa for 17 years. Recently, the group announced Sophia Fritz as the recipient of its annual scholarship.

Fritz, a Fairfield High School graduate, is currently a sophomore at Central College in Pella where she majors in English and has a minor in psychology. Additionally, Fritz is a member of the school’s A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers. The scholarship comes in the amount of $750.

Just Us Girls gives out the college scholarship each year to women in the Washington County area. Applicants must be a high school graduate and be involved in music in their school or community.
