The busy portion of the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball schedule continues with a road trip to Packwood tonight face the Pekin Panthers. The Hawks were beaten at Wilton Tuesday 71-60 to drop their record to 2-3. Brady Weber and Dylan Henry each scored 14 points. This season, Mid-Prairie scores 56 per game and gives up 60, shooting 42% overall, 34% from three and 68% at the line with 32 boards, 13 assists, six steals and 24 turnovers per game. Individual leaders include Dylan Henry at 10 points per game and Brady Weber with five boards, six assists and two steals per night.

Pekin is 3-2 this year after a 61-52 loss to Hillcrest Academy Tuesday. On the year, the Panthers score 56 points per game and give up 45, shooting 40% from the floor, 38% from three and 43% at the line with 26 boards, 12 assists, 10 steals and eight turnovers per game.

These two teams met a year ago with the Hawks winning in Wellman 63-49. Action starts tonight at 7:30p.m. in Packwood.
