At their meeting on Wednesday evening the Washington School Board recognized members for their service to the board. Board President Troy Suchan announced the members, “I would like to take a second to thank Eric, Sonia, Kelly for your service. I believe four years for Kelly, eight years for Sonia, and Eric Turner eighteen years. I’ve got something for you here, we appreciate your time, a lifetime pass of recognition of loyal service to the board, the board of directors hereby award life admission to school sponsored activities in the district.”  Eric Turner, Kelly Smith and Sonia Leyva finished their terms on the board and did not run for reelection in November.
