The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the monthly report from WEMIGA Waste Management at their Tuesday meeting. Lynn Whaley gave the report, “Tonnage is way down on the landfill side of things, we’re forty-one point four tonnes for November. We did not haul any glass in November, but we did haul a load the first of December. You can see across there we end up with a total of twenty one point four zero tonnes of recyclables total.” Further discussion will be had in the future about possibly adding another compactor to the recycling site to help with volume and transport.
