At their latest City Council meeting, Mayor Pro Tem Millie Youngquist presented Council person Bethany Glinsmann with a certificate in recognition of her time on the Council, “It says certificate of appreciation the following award is given to Bethany Glinsmass for the dedication, impact, service, and contribution to the City of Washington Iowa during your term.” Glinsmann has served on the Washington City Council since April of 2022 after she won the special election vote for Ward 1.
