The Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys basketball team posted a 4-4 overall record during the 2023 portion of their schedule. Entering Christmas break, the Hawks are ranked in the top 10 of Class 2A in six different team and individual categories.

The Golden Hawks have cashed in at the free throw line this year as a team, knocking down 69.7% of their freebies, sixth best in 2A. Mid-Prairie’s marksmen have been great from downtown, hitting 70 threes as a group this season, ninth most in Class 2A, at a 34% clip, 10th best in 2A.

Individually, Golden Hawk guard, sophomore Bryce Henry leads 2A after going perfect at the free throw line through the first half of the season. Mid-Prairie senior forward Dylan Henry is eighth best at the line in 2A at 87.5%. Golden Hawk junior guard Brady Weber is ninth in Class 2A averaging 5.6 assists per night.

The Hawks are back in action to start 2024 on January 8th when they entertain Williamsburg.
