The arrival of a new year also brings another season of CropsTV, a crop production education service provided by Iowa State University Extension and Outreach.
Field Agronomist for ISU Extension, Rebecca Vittetoe, explains the program, which is beginning its fourth season. “It’s kind of like Netflix or Hulu for farmers or ag retailers. We’ll have about 30 episodes that farmers can subscribe to watch in CropsTV and just pick and choose when it works for them to watch.
Season four will feature 35 episodes, with the first six available on Tuesday, January 2. New episodes will then be released weekly through mid-February, and subscribers can access them through April 5. Registration for CropsTV is $100, and in addition to the episodes, subscribers can earn up to 25.5 CCA credits. For more information, or to register, click here.
