Community and Family Resources, in conjunction with the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services, is hosting a free Harm Reduction Strategies in the Community program Tuesday, January 9th from 2-3p.m. at the Washington Public Library in the Nicole Stoufer Room. Topics include: Understanding the role of community collaboration in the environment approach, Benefits of collaboration between prevention and harm reduction to prevent opioid overdose, and identification of opportunities for partnership between prevention and harm reduction.
