Stay Independent is a nutrition and well-being program offered through Iowa State University Extension and Outreach for adults who are 60 and older. The program begins January 4th from 10:00 to 11:00 am at the United Presbyterian Home in Washington. The first class will be focused on avoiding fraud. Washington County Extension and Outreach will be sponsoring this event; therefore it will be offered at no cost to participants. Contact Andy Miller at 319-653-4811 with any questions.
