The Washington County Board of Supervisors elected a new chair for Calendar year 2024. Supervisor Stan Stoops made the nomination, ‘I would move to appoint Richard Young as the chairperson for twenty-four.” The board voted unanimously to appoint Richard Young as Chair. Young was first sworn into office as a Supervisor in 2013; his term expires in 2026.
