It was a clean sweep for the Mid-Prairie Golden Hawk boys wrestling team as they took down three other schools in a River Valley Conference quad at Camanche High School Thursday.

Mid-Prairie beat Bellevue 57-21. The Hawks got wins in contested matches from Mason Howe at 126 by fall, Tucker Miller at 138 by fall, Damian Vazquez at 144 by fall, Josh Turner at 165 by fall, Jarron Thomas at 175 by fall, Tommy Miller at 190 by fall and Burke Berry at 285 by fall.

The Hawks topped Northeast 63-18. Mid-Prairie got wins in contested matches against the Rebels from Mason Howe at 126 by fall, Damian Vazquez at 144 by 3-2 decision, Will Snider at 150 by fall, Josh Turner at 165 by fall, Jarron Thomas at 175 by fall and Burke Berry at 285 by fall.

Mid-Prairie stopped the home Storm 60-21. The Hawks had wins in contested matches against Camanche from Mason Howe at 126 by fall and Josh Turner at 165 by fall.

With the sweep, the Golden Hawks even their dual record at 7-7 on the season. They will be back on the mat Saturday at the Gary Curtis Invitational at Highland.
