Members of the Golden Hawk archery club have been hitting their marks on the target and in the classroom this season. Forty-five student athletes for the Hawks were named Academic Archers by the National Archery in the Schools Program.

Seventeen members of the high school Hawks have earned the honor including: Morgan Nafziger, Kyla Karnes, Eli Conrad, Brynn Northup, Averi Janecek, Caitlyn Yoder, Rylee Cady, Landon Kuenster, Tate Bombei, Ava Miller, Harlee West, Caitlyn Peters, Jacob Debler, Blake Peck, Madelyn Sieren, Grace Skelton and Emma Poock.

For the middle school sharpshooters, 28 students were recognized including: Lael Seale, Morgan Northup, Lara Brenneman, Fiona McClellen, Preston Ford, Noah Coblentz, Kylar Kiefer, Alex Conrad, Easton Gorsch, Mya Brenneman, Nickolas Peck, Greyson Nairaine, Madilynn Liska, Lane Norman, Joshua Seale, Skylar Swift, Archer Heaton, David Popejoy, Nolan Mohling, Silas Cable, Ty Gearhart, Blair Northup, Marin Northup, Brittney Wilson, Brooks Clarahan, Brooklynn Liska, Mycala Plank and Landon Hough.

The Hawks are next in action Saturday when they host their first ever home tournament.
