The YMCA of Washington County has been awarded $4,000 from the Enhance Iowa Program to allocate towards promoting the Kewash Trail Half Marathon in Washington on April 27, 2024. These funds will be used to enhance digital and direct marketing channels. Enhance Iowa Program offers monetary incentives for the development of recreational, cultural, educational or entertainment facilities that enrich the quality of life in Iowa. Since the board’s inception, 136 CAT grants have been appropriated, totaling $46,435,023.
