At their Tuesday meeting, the Washington City Council heard a special event presentation from Kyla Wilkening with the Kewash Half Marathon that is scheduled for April 27th, “This will be our eleventh year of the event, in which we will ask for street closures.” The special request was approved unanimously by the council. This will be the 11th annual Kewash Trail event, with distances including a 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. KCII will provide a soundtrack to Kewash runners, playing music and broadcasting live with the Big Red Radio in Sunset Park.
