The Winfield-Mount Union Wolves kept their dominant boys’ basketball season rolling with an 83-33 victory over Wapello Friday night. A 24-8 lead one quarter in essentially doubled to a 46-14 advantage by halftime, and the sixth-ranked team in Class 1A never looked back, as WMU remains undefeated in the Southeast Iowa Super Conference North and moves to 12-1 overall.

The Winfield-Mount Union girls fell at Wapello 50-32. Already trailing 23-9 at the half, a 16-7 run to start the second half by the Arrows put the game away. The Wolves fall to 2-10 in conference play and 4-11 overall.
