At their meeting on Monday, the Washington County Board of Supervisors heard from the IT Department about the approval of a job description for an IT Assistant Systems Administrator. IT Director Cyndie Sinn described the position, “Long term and short term goals, and this job description is part of the short term goals of getting somebody onboard to cross-train with the existing staff. We have had a couple of strategy sessions on how we would go about merging and consolidating some functions. And the first step I think Tim and Kyle, and I worked on this job description, and would like to ask for you to approve this description and to go ahead and post it.” The Board of Supervisors approved the job description, and the open position will be posted on the Washington County website.
