A busy January at Keota High School continues on Monday as it is the site of the State Show Choir Contest, beginning at 4 p.m. 

Six total show choirs are slated to perform, beginning with Keota’s own EagleRock! 2024 EagleRock! members include seniors Gavin Bolander, Noah Fisher, and Emily Sheetz, juniors Austin Black, Grace Conger, Kate Elam, Ava Greiner, Landyn Greiner, and Mison Milam, sophomores Dakota Dodd, Tierney Greiner, Kennedy Jackson, Emily Mahan, Emily Moeller, Luke Moeller, Jake Morris, and Gavin Sieren, and freshmen Emily Conger, Will Klein, Cali McCoid, Izzy Robinson, Tucker Sprouse, and Cooper Strand. 

Show choirs will be evaluated by a panel of judges on a wide variety of criteria. These include, but are not limited to quality of singing, diction, balance of parts, choreography, and transitions. Cost of attendance for the State Show Choir Contest at Keota High School is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors, and $5 for students. Concessions will be available.
