Eight local athletes have qualified for the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union State Wrestling Championships in Coralville this week.

 

Three Mid-Prairie Golden Hawks qualified, including Ashlee Farrier, Ellie Brenneman, and Ellie Callahan. 

 

Angeilna Roling will represent the Highland Huskies at State. 

 

Columbus/Winfield Mt Union have two competitors, Lecet Quiroz and Josie Nelson.  

 

Rylee Rice will be on the mat for the WACO Warriors, and Sigourney-Keota is sending former state champ Reanah Utterback. 

 

The State Tournament will take place all day Thursday, February 1st, and Friday, February 2nd at Xtream Arena in Coralville. Listen to KCII both days for updates at the top of each hour and find online results at KCIIradio.com.
