On Saturday, the Washington County Sheriff’s Office reported they were in pursuit of a motorcycle that was traveling over 90 mph on Highway 92. The motorcycle wrecked into a creek in the 2500 block of Palm Avenue. The operator, 47-year-old Brian Reed of Decorah, was checked by the Washington EMS at the scene before being arrested on operating while intoxicated first offense, a misdemeanor, felony eluding and speeding over 25 mph or more, a Class C Felony. Reed was transported to the Washington County Jail, where he later bonded out.
