Washington County Public Health Administrator Emily Tokheim will be resigning from her position. Tokheim began her role with Washington County in November of 2021. She is leaving her position to take a role as the behavioral risk factor surveillance system coordinator for Iowa Health and Human Services. After a Board of Health meeting last Friday, it was determined that there would not be an interim director taking over the role for the County. Instead the administration duties will be divided between staff until a new Director can be hired. The job listing is posted on the Washington County Public Health website.
