The Washington City Council held a budget meeting on Tuesday and heard from some partner organizations. The Washington Economic Development Group gave a presentation. Brett DeWolf, WEDG Board President, gave the presentation, “WEDG is a collaborative group. We’ve established five pillars in all of our strategic planning over the last few years, and one of the five pillars are business retention, workforce, housing, childcare, and community involvement. Those are the things that we want to build.” WEDG is requesting no funding from the City for the coming year.
