The Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines will be buzzing with black and gold next weekend for the National Archery in the Schools Program Iowa State Championships. Fifty members of the Golden Hawk Archery Club have qualified for the state meet. Representing Mid-Prairie High School for bullseye and 3D will be Tate Bombei, Averi Janecek, Kyla Karnes, Landon Kuenster, Ava Miller, Morgyn Nafziger, Brynn Northup, Blake Peck, Johnathon Pickard, Sophia Puttmann, Milo Sieren, Elijah Statler, and Allie Whetstine. High School Hawks competing in the bullseye contest only include Rylee Cady, Eli Conrad, Jacob Debler, Isabelle Frederick, Stella Janecek, Jaiden Lara, Brylee Miller, Madelyn Sieren, Harlee West, Madison Witthoft and Cailtyn Yoder.
Mid-Prairie Middle Schoolers competing in both bullseye and 3D include Lara Brenneman, Mya Brenneman, Noah Coblentz, Preston Ford, Nickolas Kelley, Kylar Kiefer, Fiona McClellen, Beckett Miller, Morgan Northup, Nickolas Peck, Braxton Ropp, Joshua Seale, Lael Seale and Joel Sellers. Middle School Hawks competing in the bullseye contest only include Landon Allen, Alex Conrad, Ty Gearhart, Easton Gorsch, Madilynn Liska, Gavin Luers, Levi Luers, Nolan Mohling, Greyson Naraine, Blair Northup, Skylar Swift and Cole Troyer.
The National Archery in the Schools Iowa State Bullseye and 3D Archery Championships are scheduled for March 1st through the 3rd at the Jacobson Building on the Iowa State Fairgrounds in Des Moines.
