Beginning today, St. James Elementary in Washington is accepting applications for new students from pre-k through fifth grade for the 2024-25 school year.
Tuition for three-year-old and four-year-old preschool will be $2,700 per student per year for St. James Parish members and $3,500 per year for non-parish families. Starting next year, three-year-old students will be going to school all day. Tuition costs for kindergarten through fifth grade will be $4,000 per student per year for parish members and $5,000 per year for non-parish families.
Any families applying for new student enrollment are also encouraged to apply for the new Education Savings Account (ESA). For the 2024-25 school year, ESAs are expected to cover about $7,600 per year per eligible student.
