Spring break begins for a number of area school districts this week, signaling the final quarter of the academic year.

Most districts are off from Monday, March 11 through Friday, March 15. These include Mid-Prairie, Hillcrest Academy, Lone Tree, Columbus, and WACO. Classes will resume for these schools on Monday, March 18.

The Highland Community School District will have school this Monday and Tuesday, an early dismissal for parent/teacher conferences on Wednesday, and no class Thursday or Friday. While Winfield-Mt. Union does not have a spring break, students are off on Monday, March 11 for staff professional development.

Both Keota and Sigourney will celebrate spring break during Easter weekend later this month.
