Iowa Attorney General Brenna Bird was in Washington yesterday. The first stop of several in southeast Iowa saw Bird visit Atlas Molded Products, where she toured the facility and met with staff.

Bird shared the experience with KCII, “It was great. [We] had a great tour today in understanding how EPS is made and what happens here. It’s pretty amazing to see all of the recycling here too and just all the different ways that products made right here in Washington go everywhere whether it’s in RVs or packaging, or refrigerators. My number one goal is always to do a good job as Attorney General and the best way I can do that is by making sure that I am working in every county every year.”

In addition to Washington, Bird’s trip to southeast Iowa Thursday took her to Sigourney, Ottumwa, Bloomfield, and Centerville.
