The Washington County Board of Supervisors discussed a quote from Slaubaugh Construction to bury fiber cable at the courthouse at their Tuesday meeting. Assistant Information Technology Director Kyle Evans gives more information, “Basically I was requested to get a quote from Slaubaughs, to bury the fiber that the County has out here out back. They came in to take a look at things and we decided on the best route to take to get it back into the building. I think he has a good plan going forward, he is just worried about all of the utilities that are currently back there.” The Supervisors approved the quote with the changes. The goal is to remove the utility pole completely.
