A renowned murder mystery hits the stage in Sigourney this week, as the high school drama department presents Clue. Audiences can view the spring production on Friday, March 22 and Saturday, March 23 at 7 p.m. and Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m.

The tale begins with several guests attending a fancy dinner party. The night soon spirals into a thrilling whodunit as the guests discover that there is a murderer among them. Directed by Devin Dailey, the production features 14 cast members and includes all of the classic characters like Ms. Peacock, Colonel Mustard, and Professor Plum.

Despite holding auditions back in December, it has been far from an easy path to opening night for the Savages, as senior cast member Lana Thomas explains, “The cast and the crew have put in a lot of work. This play season has been super crazy with so many snow days and I don’t think we’ve had a sickness-free week since we started so it’s gonna be really rewarding to see the final product.”

Tickets are available at the door and are 10 dollars for adults and five dollars for students. Savage Sips, the school’s student-run business, will be open with a limited drink menu before Friday’s performance.
