The WACO Warriors and Highland Huskies took part in the Bullette Girls’ Track & Field Invitational Thursday in Mediapolis. WACO was led by senior Zoey Dennler, who finished third in the 100-meter hurdles and fourth in the 400 hurdles. Freshman Carlee Lunsford was fourth in the 800 meters for the Warriors, who also had a third-place finish in the shuttle hurdles relay.

Sophomore Makenzie Davis had Highland’s best finish by taking the bronze medal in the 400 hurdles. Freshman Hailey Brun took fifth in the 100 for the Huskies, who also had a third-place finish in the 4-by-200-meter relay and were fifth in the 4-by-100.
