Henry County Conservation announced that it will be working with an AmeriCorps team beginning this month.

This partnership, which will last for about one month, is made possible through the National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) program. Since 1993, the program has engaged 18 to 26-year-olds in team-based, residential service projects across the country. The team arriving to Henry County will be assisting with building a prairie habitat, improving the outdoor classroom’s pond, raptor enclosures, and mapping the trail system.
