Last Thursday, the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office reported that they were out with a subject wanted on a Washington County Warrant. They arrested 18-year-old Anthony Hamilton of Iowa City on the charges of assault with attempt to commit sexual abuse, a Class C Felony, and two counts of sexual abuse in the third degree, both Class C Felonies. These offenses allegedly occurred in February of this year in Riverside, according to court documents. The Washington County Sheriff’s Office met with Johnson County Deputies to transport Hamilton to the Washington County Jail, where he is being held on a $50,000 cash-only bond where he later bonded out.
