The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship recently released its latest Fuel Report Wednesday and gas prices are on the rise.
According to AAA, the price of regular unleaded gasoline in Iowa averaged $3.33. This is up six cents from last week and two cents from one year ago. Unleaded gas in Iowa is still lower than the national average of $3.62, which is up seven cents from last week. Retail diesel, meanwhile, rose 2 cents as of Wednesday for a statewide average of $3.79. This is 11 cents down from last year, and 27 cents lower than the national average.
